+ Inworld AI Raised $50M in Funding
InWorld AI is a Califonia-based maker of no-code virtual character development solutions for the gaming industry. $50M was raised during the Venture round which included investments from Stanford University, Samsung Next and Microsoft’s M12 fund among others. InWorld AI will continue innovating in generative AI to elevate the entire gaming industry, according to CTO and company Co-founder, Michael Ermolenko.
+ Revalue Nature Ltd. Received $10M in Series A Funding
Servicing the energy industry as a provider of services such as spatial intelligence and carbon project development, Revalue Nature raised $10M in Series A funding. According to Revalue Nature’s website, the England-based company plans to use the funding to, “...grow partnerships and a global pipeline of next-generation projects, which currently span more than 8 countries and 3 continents.” Along with the funding comes the opportunity for expansion. The company website also stated they will soon hire talent to join the company, with interested parties invited to reach out.
+ Raised $80M in Funding
LightForce is a manufacturer of 3D-printed orthodontic aligners and braces. With the $80M raised, during a Series D round, LightForce intends to expand its offerings to more orthodontists and patients. A total of nine investors, led by Ally Bridge Group, participated in the round including Transformation Capital, the American Association of Orthodontics, Kleiner Perkins and more.
+ Received $12.5M of Seed Funding
Enterprise cyber risk resolution and compliance company Silk received $12.5M in funding. Headquartered in Santa Clara California, the company plans to expand operations and business reach using the newly-raised funds. Yoav Nathaniel, joined Silk in January 2022 as CEO and Co-founder, having previously spent time at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Cloud Security Architect.
+ Amber Bio Raised $26M In Seed Funding
CEO and Co-founder Jacob Borrajo, PhD along with CTO and Co-Founder Basem Al-Shayeb, PhD are leading Amber Bio, a company described as, “...pioneering new gene editing modalities using multi-kilobase edits.” The company website states that Amber Bio is, “Developing a first-of-its-kind RNA writing platform capable of editing thousands of diverse mutations across patients with a single product.” The $26M raised during Seed funding will be used in studies the company is conducting.
